Yoga principles and postures can assist with decreasing your risk and fear of falling. Join Dana Segraves, PT and RYT to learn about your risk for falling and ways to decrease your risk using the principles and postures of yoga. Come prepared to learn and for a short yoga practice.
Dana Segraves, a Louisiana native, graduated from LSU before attending physical therapy school at MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, MA. It was during physical therapy school that she began practicing yoga, over 12 years ago. Dana attended Soul school (2017) at Wild Lotus completing a 200 hr level training in order to deepen her own practice as well gain new perspective in treating her clients. She currently works as an outpatient physical therapist treating clients with neurological injuries at Touro Infirmary. Dana is excited to use her therapy knowledge and experience with yoga to build a yoga practice that assists people in finding health and happiness.
